Julie Camacho and her husband and assistant trainer Steve Brown started training in the 1990s when Julie took over from her father, Maurice. Julie had her first winner with Elite Racing Club's first homebred winner Stately Favour and has since trained Elite Racing Club’s record-breaker Judicial, the winner of an incredible 18 races, including two Group 3s. The last couple of seasons have seen their profile increase and 2023 was their true breakthrough year through the exploits of the outstanding sprinter Shaquille, the winner of two Group 1 sprints, including the July Cup at Newmarket.

Having shared the training licence with his father Roger for the previous two seasons, Harry has trained in his own right at the historic Beckhampton Stables, Wiltshire since January 2024. Roger had an epic career, winning the Derby and Prix du Jockey Club (French Derby) with Quest For Fame and Sanglamore, respectively, in his first season as a trainer. Roger also notably handled many other Group 1 winners, including Avonbridge, Patavellian, Tamarisk, Al Kazeem and Quadrilateral, and trained Elite Racing Club's Group 3 winner, Border Patrol and the speedy Listed-winning juvenile Marlinka. In his short career to date, Harry already trained more than 10 winners, including the Group 3 winner, Okeechobee.

James Fanshawe has been operating at the highest level for four decades from his beautiful and historic yard, which was built by legendary jockey Fred Archer. James has uniquely trained two Champion Hurdle winners and many Group 1 Flat winners, with the likes of The Tin Man, Speedy Boarding, Society Rock, Deacon Blues and Audarya, and Elite Racing Club's top-class homebreds, Soviet Song and Ribbons. James has a particularly good record with fillies, on account of the fact that he has trained for some of the leading owner-breeders.

Emma Lavelle has been training horses for over 20 years, but it is since moving to Bonita Racing Stables, Wiltshire that her career has really taken off. The undoubted highlight to date has been the Stayers’ Hurdle and Long Walk Hurdle winner Paisley Park, followed by Ladbroke Trophy winner, De Rasher Counter. Emma has also enjoyed notable success in the past with Shotgun Paddy, Self Defense and Crack Away Jack. Emma has achieved many successes for Elite Racing Club, including the useful chasers, General Medrano and Ballycarney.

Sir Mark Prescott began training in 1970 and is Newmarket's longest-standing trainer. Situated at the base of the famous Warren Hill, Sir Mark trains a select team of 50 horses. He enjoys plundering big handicaps but has also masterminded the careers of sprinters Pivotal and Elite Racing Club's dual Group 1-winner Marsha. Sir Mark also achieved Group 1 success with Albanova, Alborada, Hooray and Confidential Lady. His biggest success came in 2022 when Alpinista won a £2.4 million first prize in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.

During a decade as assistant to Michael Jarvis, Roger Varian was involved with the likes of Rakti, Iffraaj and Eswarah, before taking over the reins from his former employer in 2011. Roger's first runner, Eton Forever in Doncaster's Spring Mile, was a winner, and in that first season he also saddled the Group 1 winner Nahrain. Roger has now trained more than 1,350 winners, including the 2022 St Leger winner Eldar Eldarov and a memorable victory with King Of Steel in the hands of Frankie Dettori in the 2023 Qipco Champion Stakes, amongst a total of more than 20 Group 1 successes.

Initially dual-purpose breeders, David and Trish Brown founded Furnace Mill Stud in 1976, on the Worcestershire/Shropshire border. Focusing on the Flat in more recent years, they enjoyed immense success with the top-class sprinter Bolshoi, whose nine wins included the King’s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot and runs at top international meetings such as the Breeders’ Cup.

Kirtlington Stud is one of the leading Flat studs in the country. Founded in 1939 by the subsequent dual Derby-winning trainer Arthur Budgett, the stud settled on its current purpose-built site in 1990, since when the likes of Sir Percy and Harbinger have passed through its doors, among numerous top-class winners, including Elite Racing Club’s Group 1 winner, Ribbons.

Set up in 1980, Oak Lodge Stud is set on 400 acres of prime limestone soil in Co. Kildare, Ireland. Flat stars to have been raised there include the star sprinters Blue Point and Elite Racing Club’s homebred Marsha, and they currently stand the successful stallions Mayson and Unfortunately.

Managed for a long time by her father, the former trainer Maurice Camacho, Julie and her husband Steve run Star Cottage Stud alongside their successful training business in the adjacent racing yard. Many of Elite Racing Club’s homebred winners have been raised at the stud, including the top-class miler Soviet Song, the versatile Dancing Bay, the Triumph Hurdle winner Penzance, and more recent winners, including the Listed-placed Zest.
